I recently had the pleasure of staying at Irumoteso during my city trip to Iriomote and must say, it exceeded my expectations. The housekeeping was impeccable, ensuring a comfortable and clean room throughout my stay. The complementary shuttle service from the public ferry at Uehara Port made arrival and departure a breeze, adding a touch of convenience. The free shuttle service offered by the property was a lovely touch, showcasing their commitment to guest satisfaction. Exploring the island was a joy with the free-use bicycles provided by the hotel. Touring around the Iriomote-Ishigaki National Park and witnessing the beauty of Pinaisara Falls was truly a memorable experience. The traditional Japanese setting, featuring hardwood floors and Japanese futon bedding, provided an authentic touch to the stay. The owner's hospitality was exceptional, from helping us with diving arrangements to offering insights on local attractions. The delicious traditional Japanese dinner served at the dining room was a culinary delight, further enhancing the overall experience. In essence, Irumoteso's blend of comfort, convenience, and cultural immersion make it a highly recommended choice for travelers seeking a genuine taste of Iriomote Island. My journey was made even more delightful surrounded by the serene atmosphere and warm hospitality of this charming inn.
